Ignoring the issue of islamic terrorists, again.
Going after the scary white supremicists, again.

Gooks and Ruskies were fair game in I-III, but apparently... Rambo is trying to be sensitive to real-world issues, or something.
I'm giving it a pre-emptive 2/10.

I'd rather watch True Lies again.

I kind of forgot First Blood. No gooks or Ruskies, but no fictional, organized white supremacists, either.

He's trying to bring back Rocky too.

No finished script yet, but filming begins in spring.
I stick with my pre-emptive, unilateral 2/10.

Wow. I didn't expect the violence to be so graphic. It appears that Rambo isn't trying to be as marketable in this movie.
On the negative side, the graphics and quality of the video seem very low budget.

The trailer makes the movie seem not half bad. I love this
Coming soon: the eagerly-awaited Sundance production "Marion Cobretti."
That was such a shitty movie that any talk of a sequel makes me laugh.

If he's going to do another sequel he should do Demolition Man 2.
The message of too much political correctness and government regulation would be welcome these days.
They could call it "Demolition Man 2: Seriously, This is Your Future".

New rated R trailer. Production values look much better.... no longer going for the "grindhouse effect."

I'm still curious as to how I'll be convinced that someone who's goddamned near a senior citizen can still do the shit Rambo's gonna do.

Steroids.
Steroids and a "get off my lawn" mentality.

I recorded and watched Rambo last week.
I couldn't sit through it. I hadn't seen it in so long... it was so much lamer than I remember.
How come when he screws the explosive tips on the arrow by hand hand, there's a mechanical whine, as if they're being drilled on? Did I miss the part about Rambo being a robot?
Also, I know a bit about helicopter pilots. Any order to abort would have been unheard.

The villains sound boring. I think Sly may've taken this one too seriously.

It's a January release, but it looks like they've got a chance to pull it off. Then again, just a 2.5 minute trailer.
