I heard it was something to do with plants coming alive because they are PISSED or something.

It was originally called The Green Effect. I assumed it was green house emissions.
Evidently he had a difficult time selling the script.
Oh... and it's going to be his first rated R film. That should be interesting.

I can see how plants would get pissed about more CO2 in the air since that would help them grow faster.

Saw it.
The premise of the movie kind of bugs me... because it is dumb... but... since I firmly believe in the plausibility of the coming zombie apocalypse, I force myself to accept this one, too.
I liked the characters better in Lady in the Water, but I guess this story was slightly better. But not by much.
