Oscar nominee John Logan (The Aviator, The Last Samurai) is already in the frame to provide the script...

Goddamnit. Both those films sucked donkey nuts.

Chappelle's Show said it best. "'The Last Samurai starring Tom Cruise? What the hell is that? Hey, I got an idea for a film. How about 'The Last Nigger on Earth' starring Tom Hanks?"

& let's remember Gore's non-Pirate flicks, like Mousehunt, the (crappy American) Ring, the Mexican, & the Weather Man.

The guy who wrote the script for last samuiri jist put in his dances with wolves vhs and wrote everything down that he saw, then did a find/replace every "sioux" with "japanese."
