I hate you, Hollywood. Whoever gave the thumbs up to this should be given a prostate exam with razor wire.

That's dumb.

And, wasn't the remake pretty much "Dude, Where's My Car?"

Bogus!

I know Alex Winter used to work on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I don't know what happened to that Keanu guy.

At this point, Hollywood is just embarrassing themselves.

Sad part is that, five or so years ago, this remake would almost definitely have starred those two retards. At least Ashton Kutcher.

I wonder just how much they'll fuck this up. Will they go for the same light-hearted tongue-in-cheek of the original and totally fail to pull it off at all? Or will they do a gritty dramatic remake a la BSG, and totally lose the spirit of the movie?

And will George Carlin be in it again?

This remake will be vacuous. Think truly brain dead. "Ready to Rumble" springs to mind. They'll fuck it up. Truly up.

Depends on whether or not he has any bills to pay at the moment. Remember his "1-800-Collect" commercials? I saw him in concert right after he did those... he apologized and explained he didn't want to start a new marriage in as much debt as he was in.
