From what I gather, it's a movie about vampires taking over Barrow, Alaska when the sun dips below the horizon for 30 straight days.
Interestingly, there's going to be 7 web-centric "prequels" leading up to the movie.

Wasn't there a Tails from the Crypt episode with this? I remember some Gulf pilot living up in Alaska (female) who would seduce guys into a mine where her Vampire friends lived. The vampires didn't feed on her because she was poisoned with chemicals in the Gulf and made her 'inedible'.
Wadda mean? Other people can read this?!

I think you've just invented the porn version.

I remember something that ended with the revelation that even though he barricaded himself in, because he was at a pole it would be night for weeks. So he was doomed.DoctorChaos wrote:Wasn't there a Tails from the Crypt episode with this? Maybe it was Tales From the Crypt or Outer Limits, but in my head it's grouped with some Ray Bradbury stories on tape that someone played around the campfire when I was a runt.
Again, I just remember the "you're boned" ending, where the protagonist discovers that he's doomed.
I never read the graphic novel, but I hope the story was better than it was here.
Lots of "what the fuck" moments throughout as you wonder why people trying to survive would be so stupid. The ending, in particular, seems really pointless.
TONS of blood and some decent action. Worth a rental, but don't expect anything great.
5 out of 10.
