Hmmm.

Not as bad as the first Dungeons & Dragons movie.

Not as good as Dragon Slayer.

Not as good as Reign of Fire, but I'm one of the few people that really liked that movie.

Better than Dragon Heart.

I haven't seen D-War so I can't compare.

Lots of visual things that reminded me of Lord of the Rings.

This movie is neither great nor horrible, but not really essential. One part good, three parts "eh."

And, "Why me?"

The unholy spawn of tubgirl & goatse can't be worse than the first D&D movie.

I haven't seen Dragon Wars yet, but I already know that it's going to suck.

Eragon wasn't bad. I saw it again a couple weeks ago.
I liked a lot of the concepts in the story.

I kept my expectations low the first time I saw it and was pleasantly surprised.

Probably about the place I was in, but I'd stop slightly short of "pleasantly surprised." I'm fairly neutral about it, but I expected to hate it.

Never heard of it before this:

What can I say? When I was 15, I wanted to write a Tolkien rip-off, too.

Wikipedia indeed says 'twas his parents' company.
