This is being billed as a return to old school horror.
The storyline is that some killer lives in a swamp near New Orleans and has fun with a tour boat.
To sum up the whole film: crap.
The acting is really cheesy, although the two lead guys in the film do have a pretty good dynamic. Everyone else is either over or under acting.
This whole film is just an excuse for gore, which sometimes is good, but here it just comes off as comedy. The bad guy's origin is actually decent to a point. That point being "How is he here now?" Other than that everything is just ignorant.
The end sequence, in particular, assumes the audience just doesn't care about logic in films.
I can only recommend this to people who like to watch films that are just really bad.
