Aren't there like 5 books. If they are making the next, they must be thinking of the rest. Shouldn't they think about shooting them all before the kids turn 30.

Susan is definately gone before the end.
The 2 younger kids only are in 1 or 2 of them.
There's a "cousin oliver" situation with... Eustice? in 1 or 2 of them.

Seven. I can see where this is going. The kids are almost 20 now. Probably lump the last 3-4 books all into one movie and there by slashing alot of content.

It's different kids.
1. LW&W -> Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy
2. PC -> Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy
3. VotDT -> Edmund, Lucy, Eustace
4. SC -> Eustace, Jill
5. HahB -> Shasta, Aravis (Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy appear as grown-ups)
6. MN -> Diggory, Polly
7. LB -> Eustace, Jill

I first read that as "cousin lover."
I just read all 7 books. I think there were 7.
Everybody but Susan is in the last book, and the people in the first book aren't significantly older. I don't think more than 3 years lapse in the real world between book 1 and book 7.
Granted, the story does go back to an earlier point, when professor dude who owned the Wardrobe was a kid (he planted a fruit that grew into a tree that became the wardrobe), but once Peter and his posse go, only a few years pass.

That's true, I forget. Peter, Edmund, and Lucy are in the last one, but they are a few years older.
