Jack Black wore a "vote for kerry" t-shirt on some awards show last year, but I am willing to forgive him his trespasses, as he forgives those who tresspass against him.
Anyway, a D movie is coming out this year. Friggin sweet.

It would be quite boring if all you watched were TV/Films from those who voted for Bush or didn't vote for Kerry!
All you would have would be 24, South Park, and Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, and Arnold movies.
And then country music.
There is Eastwood but I don't he likes Bush just doesn't like Kerry from what I have heard.
And the Pick of Destiny is going to rock. I hope Dio has a part.

As long as Jack doesn't preach his politics during an event I'm paying to see him at, I don't have a problem with it. He's still allowed to have an opinion. . . just don't make me pay to hear it.

The Jack Black as Green Latern story was brought up here months ago.
I just remember that DC is PISSED. So much so that if Warner Brothers goes through with this, it could mean they'll never get to do a DC comic movie again.

They made the Green Latern into a cartoonish dude & get Jack Black to play him?
Shit, even I'm a bit pissed at that.

I can forgive the Kerry shirt, but if he does Green Lantern, especially after that God-aweful fat flick he did... he's off my Christmans card list forever.

My final analysis of any Farrelly Brothers movie is: they make fun of highly distasteful, uncomfortable, or unfortunate situations.
It seems to be their niche.

I enjoyed Me, Myself & Irene more than Shallow Hal. While Me, Myself & Irene wasn't great, I howled at the scene with the cow.
No such moments with Shallow Hal. They stuck with the easy jokes in the movie.

I saw a trailer for this before Snakes on a Plane. Best part of the whole experience.

Having watched the DVD, my second impression of the movie is that the first 10 minutes are great, and the last 10 minutes are great, but the hour in the middle sort of suck.
Lower my initial review by 1.5 points, across the board.
