You have it in your power to remove a single movie from existence. It was never made. No one will ever know it existed. You can even erase it from your own mind, if you so desire.

What movie would you destroy?

Starship Troopers. Didn't even need to think about it.

I don't even have to think about it: Highlander 2

There are other atrocities (like Batman & Robin, Speed 2, Interview With a Vampire 2, etc.), but Highlander 2 was so bad that it tainted the first movie even worse than a billion midichlorians could ever do.

But if you make it never happen, then what will there be to serve as a warning for future generations?

Serenity.

So, how did the marathon go, anyway?

I'd delete Leonard.
Heck, I'd omit Leonard part 1 through 5 (the good ones) just to confuse people when that lousy part 6 came out.

In fact, I think I'll do that right now.

Now, now, put some thought into my answer and I think you'll agree.

As for the marathon, it went well despite the low turnout. DD got stuck watching his rug rat and Cake was being a big baby about his kidney stones or something.

Still, gifts were exchanged, future plans made, and every episode of Firefly was watched with limited interruptions. (a couple of food breaks and one rude midget who kept insisting upon a book being read).

I truly loved the show and that's after expecting to be disappointed due to all the hype. FOX fucked up big time. I've promised Gordo a front page post on the show and situation with networks, but it's going to take a bit of time to write, thus I want to write it at work, and the first day back from a 10 day vacation isn't the day to write it.

While I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the series, I nonetheless disagree with this statement. But, then, after watching Joss Whedon's other works I'm used to seeing things like what you are almost certainly referring to. You gotta admit, it made an impact on you, didn't it? Entertainment isn't always about being happy.

Nah, the things that occurred in the movie didn't bug me much. It bugged me more that the movie seemed like a made-for-TV movie rather than a full feature.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but I loved the series.

I think Serenity was a smashed up version of years of continuity and a few "endings" thrown in for the fans that probably wouldn't have happened otherwise.

And that's the reason I voted that it never be made, because it should still be on the air, and thus, the movie shouldn't have been "needed". (yet)

Ah, well, when you put it that way, sir, you have convinced me, and furthermore I give you my wholehearted approval.

I, too, vote Serenity, not because it was itself a bad movie but because of the afformentioned unpleasent circumstances that called it forth into existance.

My first thought exactly.

Sometimes, "because it's magic" is a perfectly acceptable answer in these movies. We can fill in the blanks with whatever takes our fancy.

On sheer shittiness, "Beaches."

For a boatload of other reasons I won't get into, "The Whole Nine Yards."
