This doth not bode well.

Can you see the Joker uttering, "I wish I could quit you," to Batman?

"Robin, it's the most evil and diabolical villain of them all, the Sodomizer. He's firing the hypno-ray! Must resist urge to bend over..."

Maybe Batman will team up with Ace and Gary this time.

The line from the original, 'Where does he get those wonderful toys?' takes on an entirely new meaning.

Jim Gordon : I'm relieved, Batman, that the Joker is finally in police custody. It looks like you trapped him in Gotham General's ER. I'm wondering how you two got in there in the first place.
Batman : Funny story actually.
Jim Gordon : The doctor would only mention something about mistaking superglue for Astroglide.
Batman : ...yeah, about that, could it stay out of the papers?

It's not my fault that Heath Ledger type casted himself as a butt pirate of the caribbean.

You know, I always thought Heath Ledger was pretty talented and watchable, but had horrible instincts regarding what films to make.

While, I'm not sure he can pull this off, it makes sense for his career as he needs to win back the male audience who might have cheered him on in 10 Things I Hate About You and The Patriot.

But as much as the first Batman wasn't a true Batman film, it will be hard to top Nicholson's Joker.

Where Ledger doesn't have Nicolson's cool, yet crazy look, he'll have to rely on the writers to make his Joker that much more evil rather than campy.

For those who have only seen him on TV or film, the Joker is an EVIL motherfucker who murdered the second Robin by tying him to a chair and then beating him to death.

That was only after the fans called a 900 number to've him killed.

I forget the name of the graphic novel, but what's the one where he's fucking w\ Commish Gordon & his damn daughter? Leish, you should know this. The one where the cover is a picture of the Joker staring back at the viewer w\ a camera.

& I don't recall cheering him on.

Yeah, I liked that they did that.

Anyway, the point was that the Joker is portrayed as being so insane and evil that even the other villains don't want anything to do with him.

I can see the cover in my head, but I don't know the name. I was never a big DC guy except for the major events and The Blue Devil. I do know in that story the Joker intentially cripples Batgirl for life by shooting her in the spine.

& I don't recall cheering him on.

You know what I mean. He was much more guy friendly in those films. Oh, and a Knight's Tale. If he made Dark Knight with only those films under his belt, you'd think, "Eh, but I'll give him a chance." With Brokeback under his belt, you're going in thinking, "The Joker is gay."

Oh, and I read the article on this film, what the FUCK is Hollywood's obsession with putting as many villains as they can in a single film? Are they ignorant? NOBODY on the planet is going to want to see this film because it has the Penguin too. Those people are already going to want to see it for Batman and the Joker. Why not save Penguin for later and do him better than Burton did.

COBBLEPOT.

That actually became a war cry in 2d Battallion, 2d Marines, 2d Marine Division for a short time in 1992.

Now I remember. It's called "The Killing Joke."

Oh, and a Knight's Tale.

Dear god, I hate that film w\ a fucking passion. That movie leaned more towards being a chick flick that it ever should've.

Yea, as soon as he started losing those jousts cos of that bitch, it crossed into chick flick territory. & I wasn't buying the female blacksmith, either. There were what, maybe ten of them in all of Europe?

The best part of that flick was when the old English dude in the bar started insulting the French dudes in the bar.
