Grand Moff Tarkin and hippies vs. robotic nazis.
Got the DVD. This movie is a lot more "60's" than I remembered when watching it as a yute. Considering all the Brit actors, the movie may need to be described as "mod."
Dr. Who is an aged gentleman scientist who invents a time/space vehicle called The Tardis... which looks like a british bobby call box (a phone booth). He accidently/on purpose transports himself, and a couple family members to another planet (and time?) that had long ago been ravaged in a nuclear war. There is a city left inhabited by Daleks...

They are biological beings that were damaged by the nuclear fallout, and need those metal shells to survive.
In the wastelands around the Dalek city exist the hippies...
(Couldn't find a picture... but they're frikkin neo-hippies.)
The Daleks are still hellbent on killing the hippies, which kind of blurred the line between who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. The Daleks plan an ambush for the hippies by telling them there's free food in the Dalek's main banquet hall. One of the hippies, arguing against one who would have them proceed with warning, says, "Well if they have the food, they would have to share it with us, so this can't be a trap." Goddam hippies.
Peter Cushing plays the Doctor, and for me it was quite strange seeing him play a flighty brit. The only other role I can remember seeing him in was his in Star Wars. I wouldn't describe that character as "flighty." (Yes, I know he had lots of other movies, I just don't remember seeing them.)
So, if you're looking to flesh out a DVD collection, this one could be a conversation starter. You could probably turn it into a drinking game if you tried hard enough.
