David Twohy (of Pitch Black & Chronicles of Riddick fame) made this flick about a U.S. sub during WWII coming back from a patrol. Loomis is one of the minor dudes from Fightclub & the chief engineer or whatever the hell he is ends up being Tooms, minus hair & sideburns.
Maybe it was the fact that I watched this after Dracula 2 : Ascension, but this film holds its own & was surprisingly creepy. Definite renter & you could probably find it in the bargain bin somewhere.
& since I mentioned Tooms, the obligatory quote :
"Your new crew looks kind of skittish, Tooms. Probably shouldn't tell 'em what happened to the last crew."
