Republicans, as it happens, will be the ones who find Homecoming's agitprop premise scariest: In an election year, dead veterans of the current conflict crawl out of their graves and stagger single-mindedly to voting booths so they can eject the president who sent them to fight a war sold on "horseshit and elbow grease."

Some of you may remember Joe as the dude that made "Gremlins", "The Howling", & "Innerspace." Some of you may also remember that Joe was given his start by Roger Corman.

How is the concept of zombies voting a horror?
On top of that, perhaps Joe Dante should try listening to the breathing U.S. troops in Iraq whom the majority of believe we are doing a good thing there.
Reading more from that villagevoice.com article Gordon posted...wow. That's not biased, that outright hatred. Any movie review that makes a point to imply the November presidential elections were fixed might prove that the writer and/or media outlet has an agenda.

I just searched for Homecoming and found this thread. Sorry Thib, I never saw your zinger, which was hilarious. I laughed at it, scrolled down to see I made the same joke, and I don't even remember making it.
