Looks like it.

I remember posting on the old forum that the guy playing Chewie had already broken the news that he had been signed on for three more films.

CGI Han/Luke/Leia?

Why are they even going to bother? I guess we'll have to see if EpIII is the huge steaming pile of dog feces that we're expecting.

Unless Ep. 3 is a dark, depressing hatefest where the bad guys win the day, yes, it will be a major disappointment.

Liam agrees.

CGI Han/Luke/Leia?

If they stuck with the Timothy Zahn storyline, and why wouldn't they since Admiral...shit I'm forgetting his name, but he's from the Zahn books which were set right after ROTJ...was in SW Online, then they'd be the right ages to pull off their characters.

Hamill would sign up right now. Ford would be the problem. He thinks he's bigger than Star Wars now, but maybe he'd do it as a favor for Indy 4?

Thank you.

He is a bad mother and would be great in a movie.

Who would be good playing him? I'm thinking an unknown. Thrawn would be optimal without having a lot of baggage.

What am I saying... he'll be CGI. He's blue for Lucas's sake. No way you can make somebody blue without cgi.

Yeah, I'm thinking someone unknown.

Thrawn is, how to put it, the perfect gentleman villain.

He knew he worked for the bad guys. He was highly intelligent and studied the artwork of his enemies to learn their weaknesses. He was the greatest of all the Empire's admirals. He was also very classy, articulate, and quite the gentleman.

Take Mark Twain's wisdom, Rommell's strategy, Don Juan's charm, Bond's gentlemanly ways, Donald Trump's understanding of business and art and wrap them all up into a noble looking elderly man who happens to also be a cold blooded killer flanked by creatures that resemble what would happen if a Predator knocked up an Alien and you'd have Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Now who in Hollywood can play that?

TheForce.net posted the nondiscolsure agreement several days ago. They posted something about the media picking up on the story yesterday.

Just because there are nondisclosure agreements, doesn't mean they'll be making the films. It could be movies that take place in the star wars universe. Heck, they had E.T.s in one of the movies. Imagine that crossover. Come to think of it, E.T. uses the Force to make globes (or fruit or whatever) float around in his movie.

Of course there will be a 7, 8, and 9. That has been guaranteed ever since the first movie was designated #4 and was a success.

Even if Lucas went to his grave swearing there wouldn't be any more they'd still make it after he was dead. Which isn't a bad idea, IMO.

Ok so all we have to do now is kill Lucas and reap the benefits.

I don't think Ford would be a problem. Ford lost his ass in the divorce. The only block-buster movie of his that he's still getting money on without having to share with the ex is the original Star Wars. The Ex gets a big chunk (at least half, maybe more... can't remember specific details) for SW ep 5 & 6 and all three Indy movies. That was why he agreed to do Indy 4.

Bump.

Isn't this thread from 2004 funny?
