Kid isn't his and he's barely spoken to the wife in years.
I've never been a fan of this bullshit.
If the mom wants help for her kid, make her go after the guy who knocked her up. If she's not sure who that is, tell her to call Maury.

He absolutely should have, but at the same time, too many states have laws that fuck over guys who aren't the father.
How about the bullshit laws where a wife cheats and gets knocked up, then the husband raises the kid, finally finds out, and is STILL forced to support the kid.
If he wants to, fine and great. However, if he wants to walk away he should be able to do so.
