It has come to my attention that at Xbox-hosted events at GDC this past week, we represented Xbox and Microsoft in a way that was absolutely not consistent or aligned to our values. That was unequivocally wrong and will not be tolerated.
So ... hot women dancing ... NOT consistent with MS values. Anyhow, there's now going to be "unconscious bias" training for employees now. That's not the most psycho thing.

She went on to say, “I’m not blaming the women. They’ve got their job for whatever reason. But fuck you Microsoft.”

The Entertainment Software Association's 2013 “Essential Facts About The Computer And Video Game Industry” report breaks the gamer audience down by gender to 55 percent male and 45 percent female.
2) Whoa, you're giving a free pass to the dancers because it's how they make their living? Do you excuse drug dealers in the same way? The fuck? Are they even people to you or just nameless, helpless women being taken advantage of by the patriarchal screw job? You're taking a shitload of offense for something that: (i) you voluntarily attended, and (ii) I guaran-goddamn-tee had at least one woman in attendance who enjoyed the dancers "for whatever reason."
3) Strip joints are boys' clubs? The flatout most outlandish behaviour I've seen at any stripclub has been, time and again, perpetrated by a drunk- or crunk-ass woman spectator who gets away with it only because she's a woman.
4) There's not a dog's chance in hell people get this offended if MS hires a crew of Chippendale's guys.

This shit just keeps on going.
When we heard about this and saw the photos, the entire Senior Leadership Team was embarrassed and appalled. This is unacceptable in terms of how we treat women and how we represent Microsoft, and it undermines the culture we are working so hard to cultivate - one that is diverse and inclusive and grounded in a growth mindset.

As I believe I've said on these forums many moons ago...
I used to bounce at a club in town. For 3 1/2 years I was there pretty much every weekend. We'll throw a conservative estimate out there of 150 weekends over that time period.
Of those 150 weekends, and being that we were a very popular club, we had many bachelorette parties visit. Almost every time a male stripper would show up for the party and strip down to his underwear. We NEVER got a single complaint. Not one.
However, on one single occasion a bachelor party came in and hired a female stripper who stripped down only to her bra/panties or bikini. It was not see through. She did not perform any sexual acts.
We received complaints from female customers.
Also, having talked to those entertainers and the female entertainers I've known throughout my life, it's pretty commonly accepted that generally speaking, men in gentlemens club act like gentlemen. Meanwhile, in clubs where men strip, the women do EVERYTHING they claim they don't want anyone to do to them. They grope, they bribe, they break every rule, etc.
That double standard is a bitch.

Naw, that would be arcane and wasteful -- children already cause negative population growth in first-world countries just by being children. Like any good unionist, women do whatever they can get away with for personal benefit alone.
Of course men would too, if we weren't at risk of being fired.
