People look at me in disbelief when I tell them I'm the only person in the world with my name. But yes, it's true.

Popularity of surname. There's about 113 people in the world with my last name. Out of 7 billion.

Popularity of first name. It won't tell me, since I'm not in the top 1000, but in only two years of SS records does my name appear, with a frequency of 0.003% each of those two years.

I was once on an exclusive forum with about 50 people, and there was another guy with my same first and last name.

When I lived in Dakota Dunes, SD, a town of 2600, there was a doctor in town with my same exact name. My dry cleaners kept delivering my clothes to his house.

And I'm not exactly John Smith.

I wonder what he's up to these days.

Your names aren't exactly rare. Both are more than 1,000 x more popular than each of mine. Practically every nation in the world has someone with your last name.

There are 3 nations with someone with mine.

It must have been all those centuries when your family was Kill On Sight.

We live in the shadows.

Actually, it's because someone wrote our name down wrong when we came to America.
