Dumb-ass father and grandfather manage to let 6-year old shoot a 3-year old.

Regardless, in the aftermath of Saturday's shooting in Chicago, LaSalle -- the grandfather of the dead 3-year-old -- encapsulated what many are likely feeling in the wake of this most recent death: "You know how kids are, they get into everything," LaSalle told WLS. "There is not a safe place where you can put a gun where a kid can't reach it or find it."

Two issues:

1) You are fist-fucking me. There's not a safe place? You're retarded and I'm betting that's one of the reasons you're out a grandkid now.

2) Why'd be buy it?

Investigators say he is a former gang member who illegally purchased the gun for protection after testifying against another gang member in a murder trial.

Holy fucking shit. I'd say that's a legit reason to carry a piece, and since this dude is a former gang member, he's probably got a rap sheet which prohibits his owning one legally.

Looks like it's a gun kind of day. NY and Connecticut pass magazine limits. I'm sure every criminal in both states will abide by that law and not obtain illegal weapons or guns from other jurisdictions.

The appeals court said the claim by gun rights groups that the ban on assault weapons will primarily disarm law-abiding citizens was "speculative at best, and certainly not strong enough to overcome the substantial deference we owe to predictive judgments of the legislature on matters of public safety."

Fucking morons. Let me know how many criminals you disarm with this law.

My best friend's Dad had lots of guns when we were growing up, he was a hunter. He had a deer head mounted in their living room with hooves under it, crooked up like a rack so it would hold a shotgun.

We knew damned well to never touch that thing, at the cost of our lives. From his Dad killing us.

So, you know. Not all kids get into everything, just ones, I guess, with the DNA of former gang members.
