Fuck you.
The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday officially banned cigarettes with candy, fruit or clove flavors ... The FDA said the ban is aimed at reducing the appeal for smoking for children and cutting smoking rates in the country.

So, I suppose that means Mike's Hard Lemonade, hard cider, & anything alcoholic w\ sugar or that tastes like fruit is trying to get kids to drink.

But wait, there's more ...
But the FDA said it is also “examining options” for regulating menthol cigarettes

I guess kids wants menthols, too.

What the fuck? Seriously? They think that menthols are just for kids? Over 30% of smokers smoke menthols, so therefore over a third of all smokers are kids, right?

They're reasons are bullshit: they are doing these things to control the actions of adults, not kids. I will continue to purchase whatever the fuck I want to purchase, and they can kiss my hairy ass.

This is the kind of crap that is leading more and more people to consider that Timothy McVeigh might have had the right ideas after all.

Yeah, I'd love the government to show where in the constitution it gives them the right to ban flavored cigarettes "just in case" they attract kids to smoking.

And here's a good question, if they already have laws banning the sale of cigarettes to children, then why do they need laws banning specific cigarettes because they "attract" children?

Either the laws are ineffective, and as such, why bother passing yet another one or this is aimed at more than just reducing the number of children who smoke.

I'm betting flavoured rolling papers/cigarellos/cigars/Swishers are next. Hmm, what about straight-up tobacco? Cigarettes are generally understood to be processed by one of the evil Tobacco Satans. But what about the folk that roll their own?

I'm tired of being right. By the by, that article appears to have been written by a goddamned pinko commie.
The FDA is now examining options to regular both menthol cigarette and flavored tobacco products other than cigarettes.

The ban has upset anti-government types who claim they have a right to smoke what they want ... despite what some think, it's a welcome first step to rein in what has become in effect a rogue industry that sells death to individuals, and drives up public health care costs.

Welcome? Really? I'm sure all the owners of tobacconist shops are jumping for joy. Why don't you go ask them?

All those anti-smoking campaigns...

Turns out ...
They [some CDC investigators] point out that from 2000 to 2009, states have received $203.5 billion in tobacco-related revenue. However, less than 3 percent of the funds have been earmarked for tobacco-prevention and smoking-cessation programs in the states, according to the report.

Yeah, it's not just a huge scam to fleece smokers. Yeah, it's not just a huge "for the children" fucking lie. Yeah, it's not an arbitrarily selected bullshit tax.

Still waiting for the ban on fruit-flavoured alcoholic products.

If you have ever seen Zipper jello shots people I know use to manufacture them. The govs wife here in Ohio got a hard on against them because children might eat them. They pretty much ended up leaving the state then selling the business.

FDA bans four tobaco products for the most bullshit reasons.
Anti-tobacco campaigners have long wanted restrictions on innovative menthol products like Camel Crush, which they argue are more appealing to consumers and encourages smoking among teenagers.

Booze companies, on the flip side, never market their products to underage children.
