I am guessing when Labor put themselves all out of jobs, and a republican is President and the media stops pretending the real employment rate is under 10%, government itself is going to have to step in and start providing low-paying jobs for people.

I imagine a massive assembly line that, in one side of the building, 10k workers are tightening screws for $15/hour. Then the conveyor built takes that object through a curtain to the next room, where 10k different workers are loosening the screw for $15/hour. Then the conveyor loops back to the original room. Government will provide these jobs at a cost of $125 per employee, per hour. "Assembly plants" like this will be dotted all around the country. We will all pretend it is a good thing.

Myths will pop up.... "I made a scratch on one of the things... I swear to god I saw that same scratched thing 3 days later."
