I think the current term for what he's describing is demiguy.

All Navy guys have sex with other men. That's the correct thing to take away from this.

When I had gerbils, we separated them by sex so they'd stop reproducing, and the males would hump other males, and females would hump other males, so I guess being in the navy is natural.
