Post what colors that dress is.

After you post, check this link, and tell me what you see in the original picture.

I see black and blue here.

At the link I see the same blue on the right and a deeper less-faded blue on the left.

Why?

I originally saw white and gold.

then I saw the 2nd photo, now I can only see black and blue.

But then I saw this and it was white and gold again.

But then I looked at the cropped one above, and it's black and blue again.

Then I found this

That picture wins at internet, today. Has to be the most shared thing since the Fappening.

That's what my photoshop color sampler says, too.

Looks white/gold to me.

Same as catt, except my brain seem to randomize between the two after couple cycles. Shit, if I stare at it for more than a few seconds, it seems to wash between the two. Freaky, yet awesome.

Blue and black in each picture i see, multiple views. No idea on this one. Does what you view it on matter?

Poked the wife awake. She saw white and gold immediately. Woah.

Also she wasn't happy about the disturbance.

Wut? Wut. I've looked at every picture multiple times and the only conclusion I can reach is that many people are colorblind or something. I cannot see it as anything but blue and black. I can't conceive of how it could be legitimately perceived in any of these pictures as anything but blue and black. I read the article and thought there must be a lot of people pulling some sort of mass trolling, then read the rest of this thread and now I don't know what is wrong with all you people.

So confused.

Woke her back up and started an actual straight up fight for this one. Black and blue for life, bitches. Also what tpr said.

The color on people's monitors is fucked.

I thought of that and started playing with my settings. I can make the blue and the black lighter or darker, and I can screw with the color enough to make the blue purple or greenish, but I can't get anything close to white and gold out of it. That can't be it.

I can't even begin to guess which part is supposed to be sometimes gold and which is supposed to be sometimes white. Does the blue turn to gold and the black turn to white? Or is it the other way around?

Okay, I took the file and inverted the colors and the result is absolutely white and gold. See:

So that's maybe somehow related to this phenomenon. So you can see both at once here's the original again:

This was an "inferior" human test. So sad that so many failed and were found wanting. Buzfeed has the original dress from a wedding in scotland. Very blue and black.

Yeah, it was just freaky because the first time I saw it, I saw gold and white, and didn't think anything of it. Then I saw the full photo... black and blue. And looking at it, my eyes can just switch between them, almost at will. It's freaky.

TPR - The parts that are gold in your inverted picture, are what show up as white. The black parts become the gold. Click the buzzfeed article I linked in the original, and you'll see how someone color corrected it to the white/gold.

I can show you a picture of an American flag that is actually nothing but shades of gray.

I saw gold and white

I think you should ask for a refund for your eyes, they are broken.

Oh, and I had already forgotten about the doctored pic in the buzzfeed article. Here's another thing I don't get. That picture right below it labeled "but then again, you can correct the photo in other ways and come to an entirely different conclusion" looks exactly like the original to me. Just a little darker.

I straight up color sampled in paintshop. There was no black in it. There were some light shades of blue in one of the pics. Someone color adjusted the pictures.
