Schedule I drugs:
- The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
- The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.
- There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.
...
Despite such ballot measures and multiple studies showing medicinal benefits, marijuana nevertheless remains on Schedule I, effective across all U.S. states and territories.

Opioid deaths down. But only in places where bud is legal. Probably because it has no medical value.

Aside from corporate concerns or government folks living the good life, I have no idea why marijuana is considered so bad.

Most of the cops I know believe it should be legal. They're of the mind that it would reduce street crime, allow them to focus on more important things, reduce jail populations of folks who don't belong there, and wouldn't be more harmful in public hands than alcohol. They also add, "Who can't get pot right now if they want it?"

i may not see eye to eye with Malcom on many things, well mostly just football.. But i agree whole heartedly and 100% with you here.

I rather enjoy to partake in the joys of a good green bud, and why the hell its still illegal is just beyond me.

But if they legalize pot then next thing you know they'll be requiring all kids to smoke crack at recess!!!!! It'll be the end of the world!!!

Surgeon General says DEA and FDA are completely, utterly, 100% full of shit liars. Since both those organizations are beyond reproach due to their critical role in the Holy Crusade on Chemistry, I expect zero actual change.
On today’s CBS This Morning Murthy said, “We have some preliminary data showing that for certain medical conditions and symptoms, that marijuana can be helpful. I think that we have to use that data to drive policymaking.”
