While Papa John's prohibits employees -- including delivery drivers -- from carrying firearms on the job
...
The safety of Papa John's employees is a top priority for our company
...
Company policy prohibits employees from utilizing firearms in the performance of their duties. We plan no changes to our current policy, which is designed to protect customers and employees
Would be nice if they didn't contradict themselves in their own statement.

I can see the scum who got shot suing papa johns for having armed employees who had not received company approved firearm training, and winning.

In Michigan, it's not illegal to carry fire arms where people ask you not to. This does not include the places that ARE illegal, like schools and court houses. But if a store says "No Firearms", it's not illegal to carry one there. They can ask you to leave, refuse service, etc. But you won't get arrested or ticketed. So, Papa Johns says "No Firearms", but it's not illegal. I like their stance on it. It's their rule that no one carries one, but they understand.

Well, she's a pizza delivery person. Does new employment 3 months from now really mean it had to do with Papa Johns?
