True, but if I recall they were calculating a failure rate of something like one in 3,000 flights when the shuttle program began. Not comparing them to airlines, but pointing out that they're spitting in the wind with their "calculations".

So far NASA is ahead for safety. And Troy, I thought it damn weird that we were having this conversation and then a spaceship blows up.
