I guess we're going to need a thread if they are going to keep being cool.

I used to get paid to march around, and I really admire their precision. No idea how they get that out of college kids and still leave them time to actually go to classes and shit.

The formations are okay, but I can't get over how sloppy their transitions are.

But then when it comes to marching bands, I'm used to a bit more precision I guess.

As to how I knew guy in the band, and he had a chart that showed his movement across the field for each show. He was required to draw it up himself and it include his own movements as well as special symbols for certain actions and each passing of another band member. Very intricate, and all the members of the band had to do one. Looked like a dense sea of scribbles to me, to be honest.

As has been discussed previously, OSU's band is the best in the land. TPR is just a hater. :D

OSU pulls off crazy shit like in the video, but maybe Texas A&M's band is the best at straight lines?

I just can't get over all the wasted space. It's like these Ohio boys can't pack them in more than a couple of tubas per acre or they'll trip all over each other.

Back in Aggieland we have them stepping over each other's shoes. We pack them in tight.
