No, wait.
A church in Florida canceled a funeral with less than 24 hours notice after the pastor learned the dead man was gay.
...
His family attends church at New Hope, and wanted the funeral held there.

Firstly, good job knowing your flock, reverend. If this church is refusing to have gay funerals, then is that tantamount to saying that marriage is death? I'm sure Jesus is up in heaven beaming with pride.

I'm torn on this one. On the one hand the pastor should have the right to refuse, just as he should have the right to refuse to do funerals for blacks if he is racist. On the other hand it's a shitty thing to do to that family, especially on such short notice. This may be one of those cases where there is no good answers.

He's got the right to do so. But it makes him and his god look like complete assholes. Even in death, Christians are still obsessed with who's fucking who in what orifice and how that fact can make life difficult for their remaining family members.
