“I think the American people should know the members of Congress are underpaid,” Moran, D-Va., told CQ Roll Call. “I understand that it’s widely felt they under perform, but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world.”
Go fuck yourself and die.
The approval rating for Congress was at 15% in a Gallup Poll taken in March, which is an improvement considering the 9% job-approval rating measured in November after the federal government shutdown.

Politician is not and was never meant to be a profession in our system. It was designed to be something that the wise elders did once they retired from their life-long professions. Congressmen should be paid little more than enough to maintain a residence in DC and run their offices, and that's it.
Clearly Moran doesn't understand that in the slightest.

Fucking really? You think living expenses are keeping anyone but the financially elite from running for office? Before, you only looked greedy. Now you're greedy and a fucking moron.
