"We should explain to the people who put that law in place why it's unnecessary, and appeal it the same way any community would appeal any asinine law."

Unfortunately James, this country doesn't really leave you any option to fight laws you don't like, in spite of your particular industry having more than enough cash to bribe a Senator or two.

Oh, the law will be repealed within a few months. Way too much money just fled the state for them not to change their minds on that point.

That's the only way to fight laws you don't like. Hit 'em in the bank account.

Because the state of Cali has made it quite clear that economic foresight is on their list of strengths.
