I read the AMA on Reddit last week.
I thought his last answer was suspicious as well.
If it happened, it's too technical to really enjoy. It'd just be a bragging rights thing.

Exactly. That last answer needs to be sarcastic because as an honest answer it makes the rest of the story seem suspicious.
