Awesome right? Make something good come out of a bad situation? Save lives.

Nope. Because apparently, this will give the courts incentive to put more people on death row says the moron in charge of ethics at the transplant group.

I'd say let's donate this jackass's organs, but I'm afraid the recipient would catch their idiocy.

I'd agree, though, that if the criminal offered then it's fine. It's only when it becomes standard procedure regardless of the wishes of the condemned that it would potentially become a problem down the road.
