Manning, a 25-year-old private first class, could face as up to 90 years in prison for giving more than 700,000 classified files, battlefield videos and diplomatic cables to the pro-transparency website. Prosecutors asked for 60 years, while the defense asked the judge not to rob him of his youth.

Seriously, fuck the government.

Snowden revealed a massive program the government was running to spy on its own people.

Manning pushed his own political agenda by sending classified files to Wikileaks.

I just don't see the two cases as being the same.

They aren't exactly the same. I'm saying Manning's going to feel the pain they want to impose on Snowden because Manning's currently in hand.
