Finally. I can't count the times I've seen dudes riding bicycles that conveniently become pedestrians when their forward progress is blocked and switch back to vehicle mode when there's open road.
"I was already way too committed to stop ... I couldn't see a line through the crowd and I couldn't stop so I laid down and just plowed through the crowded crosswalk in the least-populated place I could find," Bucchere wrote. "I hope he ends up OK."

The dude he hit later died. That excuse is also tantamount to saying, "I don't understand physics enough to be able to operate a bike."

Bikes are in between cars and pedestrians. I run red lights, especially when I get to the ones that don't recognize bikes. That being said, I only do that in relatively deserted areas with no traffic around.

Sounds like this guy was just an idiot.

Nobody likes bicyclists in crowded streets. Rage boils when people see them run reds (barring the lights that only change with the weight of a car on the sensor... allowance given).

Better watch yourself, something bad might happen to ya.

My bike shirt says: Insured by Smith & Wesson

OK, it doesn't, but I'd totally buy a bike jersey that said that.
