Wins the right to use the girls bathroom.
I don't know how I feel about this issue.
I don't know that a 6 year old is mature enough to make such a decision about themselves.
Is it fair to force the other students to be in a situation they might not be comfortable in just to accommodate this single student? What if a girl doesn't want to share a bathroom with a person with a penis? (Although, at that age, I don't think this is a big issue.)
Since the boy is 6 and has obvious strong female influences around him, wouldn't it be fair to wonder if he's simply acting a certain way because he sees this behavior from his sisters and mom and wants the same attention or to "fit in"? Don't we owe it to everyone else that will be affected to maybe investigate the person? I mean, we wouldn't allow a grown man to walk into the women's bathroom of a club just because he claims to be transgender. (Let's not pretend this isn't going to happen...)
