Extracting viable DNA from tissue past a certain age (somewhere between 10K and 100K years after death) is virtually impossible without the most ideal of ideal conditions. Not sure how a sample of blood in this shape would pan out.

Interesting enough, we have kind of brought back recently extinct species before. Get the feeling cattle's easier to breed than elephants, though.
