I've said for years that whoever figures out how to send an electronic signal through cement will rule the telecom world. Every front door of every house in America is already connected to every other house and building in America with roads and sidewalks. It is already a network in place waiting to be utilized.

I'm far more of a fan of wireless power transmission. Just not enough Teslas around nowadays to finish the job.
