A-Rod will earn more this season than Houston's entire team. He's not even playing the full season, either.
Let's not forget that his numbers make him worth about 2-3 million a season...if that, he's embroiled in a major PED scandal, he's feuding with the team's most popular player (generally regarded as a decent guy), and most of the Yankee faithful have turned on him.
What a bargain!
