Most people don't think the rich pay enough in taxes.
What a fucking shock. The majority of people, who aren't rich, think the rich don't pay enough in taxes.

Had that conversation with someone the other day.... I explained that a rich person can pay 14% and a middle class person can pay 22% and the rich person will still have paid more that year than a middle class person will pay their entire lives, so it is intellectually dishonest to state "they don't pay their fair share!" I mean, I don't really have any sympathy for the sad rich peeps who pay more taxes than me, but I also know they don't get to vote any extra times for their money.
I don't know if it got through or not.

It never gets through. Nobody is "open minded" any more. At least they were polite and nodded while I spoke.
