Well, by the FDA's reasoning all food should be classified as drugs because they "are intended for use in the prevention, mitigation, and treatment of" starvation and malnutrition.

Should I be getting a prescription before I go out to eat?

I would love to see this go to court. I want to see a U.S. official sworn under oath on a stand, in front of live cameras, claiming that walnuts are a drug. This is some Monty Python shit right here.
