Yahoo article including screen grab from a video he has apparently removed.

MSN video and interview with the guy.

If you're wondering and don't want to read the articles, the guy has images of what looks like a structure on Mars. The official denial is that it's light from the sun.

This is the location: http://www.google.com/mars....visible

But nothing visible there on mars.google.com. Apparently you can only see it on the downloaded Google Earth mars thingy.

I found it pretty funny because when I saw the story yesterday, the clip had been removed and the MSN video wasn't working. I thought: "Fire up the conspiracy theories."

By the way, the original image was an orange background (I believe), so I expect TPR's gray background image of the same spot isn't going to help matters.

has a rather impressive size - more than 700 feet long and 150 wide, looks like a cylinder or a member of the cylinders

It's also apparently not capable of casting a shadow. Lends some credence to the theory that it's a flaw in the photo due to a gamma ray, or whatever.

I'm just going to assume those two robots we left up there became self aware, faked their death, and are secretly building that base to exact their revenge upon us.

I think you just rebooted the Transformers series.

That's not a goddamn bio-house or whatever that Fox Mulder wanna be called it. That's an artifact of the obscenely shitty conditions we have for shooting photos with some limited technology.
