Not following the directions of a TSA employee in pursuit of his duty is technically a felony due to FAA guideline breaches or some such bullshit. I don't know if any court has actually been stupid enough to hold up such a standard, but I've seen it tacked up on signs around checkpoints at my local int'l airport.
EDIT : Maybe it's been rolled back, I've not been flying in a bit.

I think "Land of the free" has been relegated to a phrase only our marketing department uses.
Also, this is why I am driving to Orlando, this fall. I don't need to go to jail for attacking a TSA agent if he touches my son.
