Go throw a "Like" on Casey's facebook, if you are so inclined.

I was livid about the kid's suspension until I discovered that the little twerp who instigated the fight was also suspended. That kind of took the sting out of it as both combatants were suspended, which has been SOP for schools since as long as I can remember.
Still, the guy who wrote the article makes some good points, but nothing that is revolutionary to anyone here.
Hippies can keep believing that all the world's problems can be solved with a long talk and a good hug. Meanwhile, reality keeps proving that sometimes you've got to kick a little ass.

Firmly believe that there are a lot of people who are in dire need of a good ass-kicking. The right ass-kicking at the right time in someone's life can change the world.
I think I just thought of a spinoff to Quantum Leap. I want to travel through time kicking the asses that once went unkicked.

Casey is becoming quite the internet phenomenon.
1. The little kid deserved what he got. He clearly started it.
2. I do kind of feel bad for him, though, having his ass kicked on the internet. It would have been fine if he'd just taken his beating and that was the end of it... he looks like a little kid, and kids make mistakes. But now the whole world hates him, because this video seems to have touched an exposed nerve in the 95% of the human internet-using population that have ever been picked on by a bully. Bummer for the little kid. Hope he emerges from this a better person, somehow.
3. I wonder if Tosh will give the little kid a web redemption.

I was wondering how soon the clip would be on Tosh. He's off until April, so not until then, but plenty of time to film a web redemption.

Punk's mom apparently wants Casey to apologize for being bullied on film.
The bully's actions begin to make sense.

That group is going to be brought up as an excuse for the gov't locking down the 'net one day.

Exactly what I've been telling folks.
They will be the death of the "cloud computing" buzz word...in the business world.

Eh ... it's hard enough to stay anonymous nowadays. They'll just raise the bar exponentially higher. Until gov't jobs outstrip the private sector for ingenuity, there will always be a way. Don't hold your breath on that one.

I'm too lazy to look right now, but I watched an interview with the little punk's mom this weekend where she said she wanted HER son to apologize to Casey, that was ashamed of the punk for how he acted, and that he got what he rightly deserved.
