Done.

One of his campaign promises was to have honest, non-confrontational talks with Iran. I think with his numbers in the toilet, he'll give this a shot.

Or, he'll break another campaign promise. He has no problem with that, so it can go either way... but worth betting two bucks on, to me.

Did you really believe Bush the greater when he said "no new taxes?"

True, he did say something like that. But it'd be political suicide to sit down with Iran.

Every now and then a President is accidentally honest.

Purely by accident. Besides, I'm rather certain Obama would get torn to shreds in a debate between him & Ahmed-whatever.

I was figuring his answers would be fed to him via earpiece in the guise of translation, and possibly even a teleprompter.

I expect her to try, but she'll fail. She's way too polarizing and for some reason and has never recovered from the media's planned attack on her back when McCain announced she was his running mate.

If she tries to run as an independent, I expect she'll be asked to bow out in return for a cabinet post.

As for Obama and Iran, I think there's a chance he does it. Everything will hinge on November. If the Dems get rolled it makes it more likely as he'll want to take every chance to reverse the course. Plus, it might be a way for him to strike back and Hillary once she resigns to take him on in 2012. "I'm going to do what she couldn't do as my Sec of State."
