Getting this out of the Type-O thread.
I tried using http://www.youtube-mp3.org . Horrible sound quality.
I started playing with my X-Fi Titanium sound card, there are lots of settings and levels to get it to sound perfect. Medium/High difficulty level.
TPRJ suggested http://keepvid.com . I wanted audio-only so it directed me to http://snipmp3.com . The only mp3 quality option is "standard." I don't know what bitrate that is.... but the sound quality is actually pretty good. Not as good as the original HD from youtube, but decent.
So. I am not yet at downloading audio perfectly from youtube.
