We got slammed by storms last night in the Midwest, and haven't had internet since. Can't find any info from Time warner aside from ," we are aware of the issue."
Anyone have any real info?

My office has been down for about 20 hours. Everything works except the internet.
I have received no updates or Estimates.

Living without Netflix sucks. And, is there anything new in internet pornography I should know about?

There are several things I think no one should know about.
Must. Erase. Brain.

My Internet went out last night, shortly before 9:00pm.
I blame you.
I called and they said they already had a ticket to fix it at 3:00am this morning, so I guess it's a known issue they were working on.
It came back up at 7:00am. I know because that's when my security camera emailed me that the IP had changed.
Relying on my phone for Internet was awful.

A map I googled that showed time warner downtime showed San Diego, NYC, and all of Ohio as being down.

The office was back up as of 2:00 a.m.
Apparently, an F1 hit down the street and tore shit up. Edison got the new telephone poles put into place and AT&T got the fiber lines up. All things considered, it was pretty fast.

I am looking forward to the phone call in which I call time warner and tell them they are reducing my bill this month by X hours of downtime.

It would be delicious if they tried to "act of God" you.

If you zoom out the outage blobs get bigger until they encompass the entire United States.

I have got a trump card.... If they argue with me about a credit this month, I will threaten to cancel my phone service with them.
And if it works and they give me the discount, I am calling them back the next day and canceling my phone service anyway.

Day 671 without internet: have begun melting sand in an effort to spin my own fiber optic cable. Burned myself very badly.

Just heard that the tornado (F2 confirmed) hit a DVD distribution warehouse that I didn't even know was down the street. Apparently, the tornado sucked up a shit ton of DVDs and scattered them along its path. The best part is that porn DVDs were a part of that mess.
Also, this thing was a quarter of a mile from my office. I had no idea it was that close. Last year's tornado (or was it two years ago) was a mile away. They're getting closer...
