And according to Demerath (2001:138), 64% do not believe in God, and 55% do not believe in Buddha.

So... the main religion there seems to be atheism. Interesting.

I would bet it's just not something the majority of them consider important. Passive atheism through lack of interest or relevance to their daily lives.
