CA Prison system is enormous, extremely fat in the wallet, and wants nothing more than more and more reasons to build more prisons.

Add in Tobacco/Alcohol companies, and there is just a sea of money that stands between CA and legalization.

Don't really know but that is sarcasm isn't it? If they did have money they would be the first gov institute with money at lest in Cali.

Sorry, to be more specific I was referring to the prison guard union, and the private companies that supply the prisons.


The state itself is broke as shit. Which sucks, because they are the ones that have the most to gain from legalizing it.

Actually when we were there we discovered that certain counties have legalized the growing of medical pot. Of course with the proper permits. Those counties were brimming with money.
