Eastern Washington is going to try and top it.
I honestly hope this trend ends quickly. Watching Boise State games gives me a headache with that blue turf, and I know I'm not the only one. I can only imagine what red is going to do. Thankfully, Eastern Michigan is a nothing team, so they're never on TV.

I'm entertained by it. I like watching BSU's blue turf for a little variety.
I also like bright shiny objects.

My issue is actually medical since it strains my eyes and gives me a headache. However, I'm willing to accept your enjoyment of the field. So how about we teach our politicians a lesson and compromise?
How about you support a ban on fields that aren't green, and I'll support a ban on female cheerleaders' tops?

So, there's grass, and it's blue?

It's turf, not grass, and yes, it's blue.
Honestly, I think the NCAA will ban it, both because of conformity and because of fan complaints. Like I said, I'm not the only one who hates watching their games.
However, I think their justification will be the turf might give a team an unfair advantage. Notice how Boise's uniforms match the turf? If that means a Boise player goes unnoticed in someone's peripheral vision, then Boise State is essentially cheating.

I've bought turf before, and it was grass.
