Was just at a grocery store, and I turned into an aisle with my cart and stopped because what I wanted was right there, up high. It took me a couple seconds of reaching until I was able to snag it, then from behind me I hear an OLD woman bitching, "He has his cart in the way and he is blocking the whole aisle."

I turn to look, and it is an OLD balding lady in a scooter bitching at me. Without an iota of sarcasm I say to her firmly and clearly, "I apologize, please forgive me," and I move my cart out of her way.

She just smiled at me and immediately started to motor around me, driving right into an aisle display and sending everything crashing to the ground.

I heard she told the manager you made her do it because he wasn't sincere and only moved his cart just enough for me to pass.

I figured the universe was dispensing the karma at the moment, so I just let it go. But I was still amused. The comedic timing of it all was just exquisite.
